Atleast AI Shouldn’t Evolve VIA Random Harvested DATA!

Just alike PR + Recommendations == Trash! So as AI built on the foundation of random DATA, would eventually be an AI Trash!

Further, it seems, the companies are now updating in their agreements, terms & conditions too w.r.t. Artificial Intelligence Content for a better transparent system, which is a welcome step! Under Your (User) Content, they’re mentioning that the IP rights belongs to the USER only (if they truly hold); and further, under their artificial intelligence services, they’re including that the USER of their AI services, would not use the services for WEB Scraping, WEB Harvesting, WEB DATA Extraction, Weighing the Models, To Create/Train/Improve other AI Models; which is again a welcome step (and that I’ve also mentioned in my previous blogs), and as per the BERNE Convention & TRIPS Agreement, which would stop its wrongful Commercial Usage and also building of Clutter in the AI industry as well, which would help in building a better AI!

Further, USER is responsible with the Third Party claims, kinda indemnifying the companies of which the services has been used, and removing them as the intermediatory parties in between, unless of course the companies themselves tweaked the search results or services only, which looks unfathomable! This seems to be a wake-up call to the AI Startups, who are thinking that they could just harvest/scrap the DATA, and then sell products on the commercial scale, even VIA e-contracts, as that might, & should, end up being void, as I tried to opine in my earlier blog, reasonably.

Furthermore, one can use for Scientific Development, R & D purposes, Personal Use; which has been cited by the EU AI Act also recently; by mentioning the credentials of the original authors/ creators, without being getting compensated; which is again a welcome step. Because one needs to understand that, it is not about the compensation; but mentioning and giving the credits to the Originals; including bringing their names in the Search Results, on the TOP, if they’ve put their DATA without any Paywall, and if that DATA associated with them is on a Mammoth Scale, all present online. 😊
